Bowl with winter squash
My first steps towards the art world are guided by static nature and studio work. Among the results is the painting "Bowl with winter squash" one of the 5 works made with still life. Regarding the work I relive the emotions and feelings of that moment, there are no words to describe my impact with colors. The moods of that time are so deeply ingrained in my heart that I cannot forget them: fear, enthusiasm, tears, self-satisfaction are among the few words that can be written.
Why did I choose this topic? I wanted my origin to remain "written" somewhere. The painting represents the transition from my life from the village to the city, to the transition from childhood to adolescence; it is a tribute to those years spent. For these reasons it is one of the most important works for me.
