A serene and peaceful scene in the middle of a forest. My original idea was to explore the inner strength of the human body, but as I worked, the painting evolved into a forest-covered church. I used oil on canvas and applied the paint with my fingers, blending the colors and creating a loose, expressive brushwork. The focal point is the church, almost entirely absorbed by trees and vegetation — nature reclaiming the space. A palette of blue, white and deep green suggests a clear sky, a feeling of lightness, and the rich colors of the forest. My intention was to invite quiet contemplation — a moment to appreciate the beauty of nature and the power of stillness.
